This is a collection of 15 arias from operas & oratorios by Handel (the title states 45 arias but they are printed in three different volumes). The arias are for high voice & piano. The arias were selected and edited by Sergius Kagen. The English translations are by Nicholas Granitto & Waldo Lyman. All of the tempo and dynamic marks not in parentheses are to be found in the original scores, as printed in the Handel-Gesellschaft Edition. The editor’s suggestions are always in parentheses.
