The result is cleaner color mixing and a range of sheen and opacity across the line - from glowing, transparent colors ideal for glazing to dense, opaque colors providing excellent coverage.Transparent color originally made from ground cobalt glass and used in 16th and 17th century European paintings in place of Ultramarine.
